Who we are

These Terms govern use of alderandmarch.shop and purchases from Levi Painter, a sole proprietor trading as Alder & March, at 3980 Cliffmont Cir NE, Marietta, GA 30068, United States. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Levi Painter operating this business. Your purchase contract is with us. By placing an order or using the store, you agree to these Terms, subject to rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.

Using the store

You must have legal capacity to enter the transaction and provide accurate contact, payment, and delivery information. Keep any account credentials secure. Do not use the store for fraud, unlawful conduct, infringement, security attacks, or interference with another person’s use.

Products and safe use

Included items and specifications appear on the applicable product page. Colors may vary with screens and lighting. Finished projects, paper, and other styling props are excluded unless explicitly listed as included. The Tool & Leather Bundle contains the bookbinding tool kit and one 8 × 12 leather sheet; paper is not included.

Bookbinding tools include an awl and needles, and some edges can be sharp. Handle carefully, use a stable work surface, follow product instructions, and keep sharp tools away from young children. These are craft tools, not children’s toys. We do not promise a particular finished project or result.

Prices, payments, and orders

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping charges and applicable taxes are shown at checkout before payment. We do not add paid items, subscriptions, or other charges without your agreement. Price changes apply to future orders and do not change the amount of an accepted order.

An order acknowledgment confirms receipt; acceptance occurs when we confirm dispatch. This does not postpone the start of our 14-day delivery-refund promise, which runs from the time you place and pay for the order. We may cancel an order for unavailability, a material listing error, suspected fraud, or legal restrictions. If we cancel a paid order, we promptly refund the canceled merchandise, applicable tax, and associated shipping. We seek your agreement before charging a corrected price.

Shipping, returns, and cancellation

We currently deliver only within the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia. Our Shipping Policy and Refund and Return Policy form part of these Terms. They describe $12 standard shipping below $50, free standard shipping at $50 or more after discounts, our 14-calendar-day refund promise for undelivered items, and 15-day returns for defective products.

Original shipping charges are nonrefundable except under the delivery-refund promise, for qualifying cancellations of unshipped merchandise, or as required by law. Email cancellation or address-change requests immediately. Automated supplier processing can begin quickly, and we cannot guarantee a change or cancellation after processing begins. We do not restrict cancellation, refund, or other remedies required by law.

Third-party fulfillment

Alder & March is an independent retailer operated by Levi Painter. We use AutoDS to help manage orders and third-party suppliers, including Amazon US sellers, to supply and ship products directly to customers. A package may carry the supplier’s or carrier’s name and may arrive separately from other items in your order. We do not manufacture the products or represent that we are affiliated with or endorsed by our suppliers.

Your purchase is from Alder & March. We remain responsible for customer support, our delivery-refund promise, eligible returns, and refunds under our policies. You do not need to resolve an order problem directly with AutoDS or a supplier. Contact AandMsupport@protonmail.com; we respond within 2 calendar days.

Privacy and Shopify

Shopify hosts our store. Information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including disclosures needed to process payments and fulfill orders through service providers, suppliers, and carriers. Shopify may also process information for its own services as described in its Consumer Privacy Policy. Our Your Privacy Choices page explains available opt-out controls.

Content and reviews

Our original store content is protected by applicable intellectual-property law; do not reproduce it commercially without permission. Reviews must reflect real experiences and must not disclose someone else’s private information. When you submit a review, you give us nonexclusive permission to display it and any accompanying media with your chosen display name in the store’s review feature. We seek additional permission for other advertising uses where required. We may remove spam, unlawful material, or privacy violations, but not a review merely because it is negative.

Warranty and responsibility

Alder & March does not offer an additional commercial warranty. This does not limit our express delivery-refund and return commitments, implied warranties that apply by law, or other nonwaivable consumer rights. We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.

We aim to provide accurate content and reliable access, but maintenance or interruptions can affect the site. Third-party links are provided for convenience and do not make us responsible for operating those sites. They do not remove our responsibility for purchases made from us.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Georgia law and applicable United States federal law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that otherwise apply. Contact AandMsupport@protonmail.com so we can try to resolve a concern. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive access to a court or regulator where you have that right.

Changes and contact

Changes apply prospectively from the effective date. The terms in effect when you ordered govern that purchase unless a change is legally required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.
