Shipping policy

This policy applies to purchases from Levi Painter, a sole proprietor trading as Alder & March.
Where we ship
We ship to the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, military addresses outside this area, or international destinations. Please provide a complete deliverable address at checkout.
Shipping prices
- Orders below $50 USD: $12 USD standard shipping.
- Orders of $50 USD or more: free standard shipping.
The threshold is calculated using the merchandise subtotal after discounts, excluding shipping and taxes. Applicable tax is shown at checkout. We do not charge extra shipping for separate packages from the same order. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable except under the delivery-refund promise below, for qualifying cancellations of unshipped merchandise, or where applicable law requires otherwise.
14-day delivery-refund promise
For accepted orders to the contiguous United States, if an item has not been delivered to the address provided at checkout within 14 calendar days from the time you place and pay for your order, you may request a refund for that undelivered item. This period includes order processing and shipping transit; weekends and holidays count. Separate shipments do not restart the deadline.
Email AandMsupport@protonmail.com with your order number and the missing item. We respond within 2 calendar days, check delivery records, and issue an eligible refund to your original payment method within 7 calendar days of your request. A carrier investigation will not extend this deadline. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund.
The refund covers the amount actually paid for the undelivered item, its applicable tax, and its share of any original shipping charge. For a partly delivered order, that shipping share is allocated in proportion to the prices paid for the items. If nothing was delivered, we refund the entire order, including shipping and applicable tax. We do not refund items delivered within the 14-day period under this promise, and we do not add a shipping charge if a partial refund takes the remaining order below $50. Bundle components are assessed individually at their line-item prices after discounts.
This promise concerns delivery to the address you supplied. A delay caused solely by an incorrect or incomplete address you supplied, or a delivery change or hold you requested, is excluded. Weather, carrier delays, supplier delays, and separate packages do not remove your eligibility. Later delivery does not cancel an approved refund. This promise is provided by Alder & March and is separate from any carrier or supplier guarantee.
Third-party fulfillment
Alder & March is an independent retailer operated by Levi Painter. We use AutoDS to help manage orders and third-party suppliers, including Amazon US sellers, to supply and ship products directly to customers. A package may carry the supplier’s or carrier’s name and may arrive separately from other items in your order. We do not manufacture the products or represent that we are affiliated with or endorsed by our suppliers.
Your purchase is from Alder & March. We remain responsible for customer support, our delivery-refund promise, eligible returns, and refunds under our policies. You do not need to resolve an order problem directly with AutoDS or a supplier. Contact AandMsupport@protonmail.com; we respond within 2 calendar days.
Tracking and separate packages
We send tracking information by email when it becomes available. The bookbinding tool and 8 × 12 leather sheet may arrive in separate packages with separate tracking numbers. Paper and styling props shown in photographs are not included in the Tool & Leather Bundle. Supplier packaging or dispatch locations can vary; our Georgia contact address does not mean every order ships from Georgia.
Delays, cancellations, and address changes
Email us immediately if you need to cancel or correct an address. Automated fulfillment can begin quickly, so a cancellation or change is not guaranteed after the order has been submitted to the supplier. If we can cancel before shipment, we refund the canceled merchandise, applicable tax, and associated shipping charges. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
If we learn that we cannot fulfill the delivery commitment, we will contact you with the available information and offer cancellation and a prompt refund of unshipped items. We obtain any consent to delay required by law. Agreeing to wait for a package does not waive the 14-day refund promise. If we cannot fulfill the order, or do not receive consent where required, we cancel and refund as required by law.
If tracking says delivered but you cannot locate the package, contact us promptly. We will investigate with the carrier and work to resolve the issue; tracking marked delivered is not by itself a reason to ignore a reported delivery error. Any reshipment charge caused by an incorrect customer-provided address must be disclosed and agreed to before payment.
